Higher Ground...

I think that in the past few posts over these 2 weeks have been way too graphic intensive. So, I guess I'd switch back to doing some text-based stuff for a while

Recently, I have been following my colleague around, running all over Singapore. Been to places that I had been before, especially all those weird industrial estates tucked in different corners of the island.

But of course, when it rains, he begins to slack as well. So, we ended up driving around aimlessly but hey, it was fun. Actually, it allowed me to see and appreciate certain things that I din even know existed in Singapore itself. Fucken frog in a well aye?

Since it was raining yesterday, my colleague went to visit his friend at the SAF Yacht Club. As usual, I tagged along. After I had a smoke, I couldn't find the bugger and started looking around for him. Standing opposite JB, it was pretty nice and rustic. Looking at waves and all that shit.

In any case, I found the bugger linefishing behind some yachts with his friend. Fucker... Then he passed a hook to me to try. It looked pretty fun and I was a fishing virgin, never touched a hook, line or sinker in my life. Was inspired by my colleague. The bugger dumped the line and within 5 seconds, caught something!!! Fuck!!! I knew I hadta try.

It was pretty simple but fun. Eh, I am an urban animal, not a kampung boy. So all this shit is new to me. I caught around like, 4 fish which I dun even know what species or breed they are. But to me, it's official... Fish are up there with chicken as the world's stupidest animals. Chickens have like a 5 seconds memory span. Sorry, Sujin. Heheheh...

I had to squat down to fish at times and my jeans was worn pretty loose. Thus, half my arse was peeking outta my jeans. Hey, it looked like as if I was moonin' Malaysia... and perhaps, my parting gift to the outgoing Prime Minister. Thought I'd just share that...
